MIDPEX 2013 Will Create New Post & Go Stamp Variety for Collectors



Mr Chris King, the Chairman of the ABPS Exhibitions Committee and incoming President of the Royal Philatelic Society, is to officially open the Show. Stanley Gibbons Publications will be attending as are the Stamp Active Network with information and advice for the organisers of school and junior stamp clubs.

The show is supported by Cavendish Philatelic Auctions, The Midland Philatelic Federation, The Association of British Philatelic Societies (ABPS) and The British Philatelic Trust. Midpex 2013 will feature display material covering many different aspects of collecting. There will also be display meetings by the Revenue Society, the Perfin Society, the TPO and SeaPost Society, the Oriental Philatelic Association and the British Postmark Society.

A special souvenir envelope will be available to celebrate 50 years of the MPF and a Royal Mail Hytech Post & Go machine will be on hand to issue stamps to put on them. Another feature of the Show will be Midland Philatelic Federation (MPF) Inter-Society Competition entries.

Midpex 2013 takes place at the Warwickshire Exhibition Centre near Leamington on Saturday 6th July 2013 from 10am until 5pm. Entry is free with a free catalogue also provided to visitors.
