Collect British Postmarks: Leeds - Don Revie Statue Unveiling

A special Royal Mail postmark dated 5th May 2012 has marked the unveiling of a bronze statue at Elland Road of former Leeds United manager Don Revie forty years after the team last won the FA Cup final.

Donald George "Don" Revie OBE was was an English footballer who played for Leicester City, Hull City, Sunderland, Manchester City and Leeds United. He went on to manage Leeds United between 1961 and 1974 before becoming England Manager between 1974 and 1977.
