The cost of the booklet is £2.34 (6 x standard 1st Class letter rate).

The booklets are being printed by Walsall Security Print and all the stamps contained are self-adhesive with the four Machin definitives featuring the anti-tamper security slits.
As Royal Mail do not consider these retail books to be new issues they are not producing FDCs. So it is likely that only relatively few privately produced first day covers will be available to collectors in future.
